The Burger Bar by Wegmans
Wegmans is famous for its wide variety of foods from all around the world and for its excellent take-home food. It’s a great spot to get a pizza, sandwiches, sushi, and lots more. But what you might not realize is that the burger bar actually has some of the best burgers you’ll ever taste anywhere. The Wegmans itself opens early, but the burger bar opens at 11 AM.
You can make your own burger by choosing toppings, including some interesting options like lemon caper aïoli, onion jam, and goat cheese. There are also delicious favorites to choose from. We really like the maple onion burger, which comes with smoky bacon, maple onion jam, and chipotle aïoli. You can also get good sandwiches here, like a crispy chicken, a chicken avocado BLT, and a chilled lobster roll.
World of Beer
As they say on their website, World of Beer started with beer, but they now have so much more. This is a great place to enjoy time with friends. They have a lovely patio, they’re pet friendly, there are plenty of games to enjoy, and they offer a military discount. If you do enjoy a few brews with your burgers, please drink responsibly and in moderation.
World of beer offers some upscale food, like a great steak frites, but it’s the burgers that we’re here for. We can’t get enough of the black and blue burger, which comes with Danish blue cheese and crispy onions. You can also build your own burger so that it’s just the way you like. For something sophisticated and adult, try their truffle burger, which comes with black truffle pecorino cheese and caramelized onions, black truffle aïoli, and truffled arugula.
Linwoods
Sometimes, you are with a group that wants to eat out at a fancy spot. That’s great, but what if you just want a great hamburger? If that’s your situation, you should suggest that the party move to Linwoods. This is an upscale restaurant that’s perfect for a date night or a celebration. It first opened in 1988 and has been serving the area for the last 30 years. It’s known for the amazing quality of his food and drink and for absolute consistency.
While your significant other enjoys the beef tenderloin or a broiled crab cake, you can get the fantastic grilled hamburger. It’s simple, but it’s absolutely perfect, and there is no better burger to be had in our area. It comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle. Cheese and bacon are optional, and you get pommes frites with it.
