1. Your Gearshifts Are Delayed
Automatic transmissions should seamlessly slide into the right gear of their own accord. If the transmission doesn’t immediately engage when you accelerate after stopping or go from park to drive, then there’s something wrong. It’s time to head to the dealer to get your vehicle checked out as soon as you can.
If you drive a manual transmission car, then you might notice that it’s suddenly hard to shift gears. Alternatively, your RPMs might surge while your engine doesn’t respond. Replacing the clutch in a manual transmission car often fixes this issue, but it may still be a problem with the transmission.
2. Your Vehicle Has Low Transmission Fluid Levels
