The Green Spring Valley Hunt Club was designed by Robert Trent Jones in 1892. The course is a par-72 with 18 holes, and it offers scenic views of the surrounding Baltimore area that includes downtown Baltimore and Inner Harbor to the east and Towson University to the west. It also has rolling terrain typical of courses situated on mountainsides like this course.

In addition, the course features rolling terrain with five sets of tee boxes so that players can choose whichever set they are most comfortable with. There’s also plenty of water hazards around, so make sure to stay alert when playing or else it could be your ball that ends up in them!

3. Caves Valley Golf Club

The Caves Valley Golf Club is a private, 18-hole layout with a par of 71. The course is relatively flat, with some rolling hills and water hazards. They offer a full driving range, golf lessons from PGA instructors, club rentals, food/beverage carts in the summer months, and valet parking.

This ground is also perfect for beginners because it has shorter tee boxes on most holes which provides good-sized greens to create challenging putts! There are strategically placed bunkers that add to the challenge of this amazing layout as well.

4. Diamond Ridge Golf Club

This 18-hole public course was designed by Ed Ault and opened in 1967. It’s considered one of the best courses in Maryland for viewing fall foliage (September-October). The course features rolling hills, open fairways, and an abundance of trees.

All levels of golfer will enjoy this challenging layout that plays to just under 6620 yards from the championship tees. The clubhouse offers snacks or more substantial fare as well as beverages both alcoholic and nonalcoholic. Remember to drink responsibly and with moderation!
