Trim Levels (Exterior)
You can get the new Forte in four trim levels: FE, LXS, GT-Line, and GT. On the FE, you get auto headlight control, 15-inch wheels with full covers, and perimeter approach lighting. The LXS captures attention with 16-inch allow wheels and your choice of seven paint options. You get a sport grille, black gloss sport bumper accents, sport side sills, and a rear trunk lid spoiler with the GT-Liner. The top-of-the-line GT gets you LED headlights, dual chrome exhaust tips, 18-inch GT two-tone alloy wheels, and an available power sunroof.
Engine (Power)
The FE, LXS, and GT-Line come with a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine. It comes paired with an intelligent variable transmission with Sportmatic. This combination will deliver 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. The GT gets a turbocharged 1.6-liter inline four-cylinder engine paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with paddle shifters. You can also opt for a six-speed manual transmission with the GT. With the GT you'll get up to 201 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
The Forte comes packed with a series of performance features to help make everyday driving more fun. You'll get features such as front-wheel drive to help you handle various road conditions. Vehicle stability management and electronic stability control help you remain in charge of your vehicle. Traction control helps to improve handling while the brake assist system and anti-lock brake system improve stopping power. The GT comes with a sport-tuned dual exhaust and each trim comes with drive mode select.
Interior
The interior of the 2022 Forte comes with advanced technology, premium comfort, and various convenience features. The FE comes with an 8-inch touch-screen display and wireless phone connectivity thanks to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You'll also get woven cloth seat trim, manual air conditioning, and power windows. Inside the LXS you'll find a 60/40 rear split-folding seat and soft-touch door trim.
With the GT-Line you'll get a 10.25-inch color touch-screen display with a voice-command navigation system, a GT leather-wrapped flat-bottom sport steering wheel, and alloy pedals. The GT has SynTex seating, ambient lighting, and dual-zone automatic climate control. You can also opt for heated and ventilated front seats.
Safety Features
