Trim Levels (Exterior)
This year's Kia Telluride is available in four trim levels: the LX, S, EX, and the luxurious SX. The Telluride comes standard with 18-inch wheels, but 20-inch options are available. Other available exterior upgrades include dual sunroofs to open up your cabin, roof rails to pack more adventuring gear, a hands-free liftgate to make loading your SUV easier, and more. If you want to give your SUV a darker edge, look for a model with the Nightfall Package to add black wheels and exterior accents to your Telluride. Choose the SX to get it all, including LED headlights and fog lamps.
Engine (Power)
All 2021 Kia Tellurides come standard with 3.8-liter V-6 engines that output 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. This engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Performance
The Telluride starts with an efficient front-wheel-drive system, but you have the option to switch to all-wheel drive on all trim levels. Alternate between the all-wheel drive's drive modes to find the appropriate settings for today's drive. Handle slick rides with Snow Mode or disengage the all-wheel drive entirely to focus more on fuel economy. The Telluride can tow up to 5,000 pounds with its standard Class III towing capability. All Tellurides feature a smart cruise control system with stop and go to make your highway drives smoother, even in heavy traffic.
Interior
This SUV seats up to eight passengers in three rows. You'll find 21 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row. Fold down the third row to increase this space to 46 cubic feet and fold the second for 87 cubic feet of cargo volume. Rise through the Telluride's trims to find the experience you want. The LX is already handsomely equipped with features such as simulated leather upholstery and an intuitive 8-inch touch screen with smartphone integration capabilities. Choose the S for its heated front seats or the EX to add ventilation to leather-upholstered front seats.
