Trim Levels (Exterior)
You can get the 2021 Kia K5 in one of five trim levels. Go for the already impressive entry-level LX, or upgrade your way through the LXS, GT-Line, EX, and GT to find your perfect sedan. The K5's standard wheels are 16 inches, and 18-inch versions are available. Other available exterior features include the GT-Line's black accents and fog lights and the EX's panoramic sunroof that opens your cabin up to the city skyline. The K5 has unique zigzag daytime running lamps and sharp headlights on either side of Kia's signature slender black mesh grille.
Engine (Power)
The 2021 Kia K5 comes standard with a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that churns out 180 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. If you need more power than that, upgrade to the GT to get the turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder that outputs 290 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque.
The first engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The GT gets a dual-clutch eight-speed automatic transmission.
Performance
The K5 comes standard with a front-wheel drive system. If you want to increase your sedan's traction, the LXS and GT-Line can be upgraded with an all-wheel-drive system. If it's an exhilarating sports sedan you're searching for, opt for the K5 GT, which outperforms some luxury sports sedans, including the BMW 330i, thanks to its best-in-class torque. Safety Features
